PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Adventures in Diving Manual

Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. It is designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn while under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you have learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
  • 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

Additional Details:

  • Underwater Navigation and Deep Diving are required.
  • You will Discuss with your instructor, which other 3 adventure dives will complete the certification. The most common choices include Drift Diving, Wreck Diving, Underwater Photography, Night Diving, Search & Recovery. More choices are available.
  • Combine the Advanced Open Water Diver Course and the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Specialty course and receive additional discounts.    **Contact Sea Dreams Scuba for more details**
  • Course fee includes boat fees (if applicable) & certification processing.
  • Student needs to purchase the PADI Adventures in Diving Manual, or the corresponding PADI Specialty Course Manuals, or Sign up for eLearning.
  • Divers must provide their own transportation to and from shop and dive sites, and pay parking fees (if applicable).
  • Students must provide own mask, fins and snorkel.
  • SCUBA Equipment & Air tanks not included, but are available for rent. (Don’t forget you will need a compass for the Underwater Navigation dives and a flash light for night dives.)

 

PADI Adventure Diver Course

Adventures in Diving Manual

The PADI Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. It’s a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba diving skills and gain more confidence.

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
  • 15 years old (10 years old for PADI Junior Adventure Diver).

Additional Details:

  • Course fee includes boat fees (if applicable) & certification processing.
  • An adventure dive can be credited towards the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, or the corresponding PADI specialty course.
  • Student needs to purchase the PADI Adventures in Diving Manual, or the corresponding PADI Specialty Course Manual.
  • Divers must provide their own transportation to and from shop and dive sites, and pay parking fees (if applicable).
  • Students must provide own mask, fins and snorkel.
  • SCUBA Equipment & Air tanks not included, but are available for rent.

PADI Rescue Diver Course

Rescue Diver Manual

“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Divercourse. Building upon what you have already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. You will learn skills relating to self rescue, recognizing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers, and rescuing unresponsive divers.

Prerequisites:

  • 15 years old (12 years old for PADI Junior Rescue Diver
  • PADI Adventure Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Ask your instructor about Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses).

  • Student needs to purchase the PADI Rescue Diver Manual, or Sign up for eLearning.
